This app turns any digital electronic safe into a time-release safe.

Can be used as a deprivation system for hard-to-control habits. For example, spending all your cash, credit card sprees, excessive drinking, smoking, or overindulgence in tempting foods.

Lock away habit items until some future time that you choose.

Those serious to challenge their habits will be willing to purchase an electronic safe to use with this app. (Sold at most hardware and office supplies stores).

The app supplies a combination to program into your digital electronic safe.

Set the release time within the app, and the app keeps the release combination until that time arrives.

Set any time to release it: in 2hrs, or tomorrow, or in 2 days, or in a month etc.

If you have made the decision to clean up your habits, this system will help you follow through with that decision.

For smaller items (cash or smokes etc), they can be locked in the safe directly. For larger items (case of drinks etc), store the keys to a padlock that can secure some suitable larger enclosure (padlockable toolbox etc).

This also then allows the purchase of larger quantities, without the temptation to consume excessively. This brings dramatic cost savings.

Important: In using this app, you must still have a backup of some form. Usually the backup would be the physical key that comes with the safe. Obviously youd keep this somewhere not-so-easy to access. Perhaps keep it at work, or with a friend, or with an interstate relative etc.
